What we keep
When you submit, we store your public referral code and link, listing dates, and a one-way hash of your private management token. Your public link can be shown to other visitors. A Tesla referral can identify you in Tesla’s app; review Tesla’s privacy terms before sharing.
To limit abuse, the app uses a daily, salted identifier. Behind a configured trusted proxy, it is derived from your network address, and the app stores the identifier rather than the raw address. Otherwise, a first-party, HttpOnly browser cookie provides an anonymous identifier and expires after a day. This cookie is used only for abuse limits. Rate counters expire within an hour. Issue reports contain the listing, date, and daily identifier.
Your private management link
The secret is kept in the URL fragment and sent only in an authorization header to manage your listing. We do not put it in browser storage. Anyone with that private link can remove the listing. Save it somewhere safe.
Removing a listing
Listings remain until you remove them. Removing a listing deletes it and its reports immediately from the app database. Expired abuse-limit counters are cleaned up during later submissions. Hosting logs and backups may have separate provider retention periods.
Hosting and external links
The site’s hosting provider processes connection information to operate the service. The app adds no advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party fonts. Opening a Tesla link takes you to Tesla’s services and their policies.
